{Madelynn's 3rd Birthday Party} The Princess & The Pony Party

Our sweet little girl turned three a few weeks ago and we celebrated with a Princess Pony party with all her friends.  We went with both light and hot pink, yellow and hints of white as the color scheme.  Sivan from Sivan Ravit Photography was on hand to capture all the details.  When thinking about the birthday girls attire, I immediately thought of a pettiskirt from Pink Taffy Designs with a shirt by Modern Frills.  I contacted Kristina of Modern Frills and asked if she could create a custom shirt with a pony on a carousel wearing a tiara.  She made the most adorable top that carried the color scheme and fit the party perfectly.
The paper goods were designed by the fabulous Kori of Paper & Pigtails.  I simply love working with Kori.  Her designs always are fabulous and she is such a delight to work with.  I could not have been happier with the invitation and how she pulled all the colors together.
Upon arrival, each guest checked out the Princess & Pony dessert table which carried the pink, yellow and white color scheme.  The printables were designed by the one and only Kori with Paper & Pigtails.

One of my favorite elements to this dessert table was the pony and tiara aspect throughout.  The design created by Paper & Pigtails was used on the cookies and cupcakes.  I worked with Angela of Queen of Tarts Cakes and immediatly fell in love with her work.  She created edible cookies using the pony & tiara image and they turned out beautiful!  Angela also made some gorgeous cupcake toppers to include the pony theme!
The cupcakes and whoopie pies were a hit at the party and these were made by the premier dessert shop Cupcake Couture
Some additional aspects to the dessert table included
Each guest was asked to assemble their own dessert favor bag to include all these darling items.

The guests were treated to pony rides, face painting, a princess, bouncy house, bubbles, snowcones and coloring activities.  Guests could not get enough of the pink pony!  The birthday girl loved very moment spent with this beautiful pony.

face painting provided by Miss Debbie with Fun 4 Kids

Each guest was given a favor to go along with the Princess & The Pony theme.  Each girl was given a princess package that included a pink tutu, a tiara and a necklace.  Each boy was given a pony stick from Stateline Track
After all the fun, guests gathered to sing happy birthday to sweet Madelynn. She simply enjoyed it all and this picture captures her excitement!

It was such a fun party and I thank all the fabulous venders who were involved with making this party happen.

Homemade Turtles!

Here is a recipe Yarah Designs found on Twig & Thistle and it is simply fabulous and so easy for an impromptu gathering.  All you need is Mini pretzels, Pecan Halfs and Rolos!

1) On a cookies sheet, arrange the pretzels then place a Rolo on top of each one. Bake at 220 F. for 2 minutes.

2) Remove from the oven and immediately start placing the Pecans on top and pushing them down, squishing the Rolos.  Enjoy!

How easy is that!
